A nervous Mandarin interpreter stumbles and stutters through a bilingual web series of hectic cultural misunderstanding...Inspired by writer/director Grace Feng Fang Juan's experience as a professional interpreter in Melbourne, the series shines a light on the crucial - but oft awkward - role of facilitating communication during the day-to-day of migrant communities in Australia.

Girl, Interpreted will premiere at the National Gallery of Victoria during Lunar New Year celebrations on 25th January 2020. All episodes will be released online on the same day.
